Introduction Post

I suppose before we get started in this Rift journey I should introduce myself. My name is Illtree. I have been a gamer for about 20 years now. I started playing MMO's when World of Warcraft launched and really haven't branched out much as far as PC games go. I continued to play WoW into the start of Cataclysm and quickly found my self at the level cap after about a week of casually playing. 

I did the whole daily quest grind and all that jazz for about a month until it finally dawned on me that I had become burnt out on the game that I felt like I had grown with. It was with a heavy heart that I finally cancelled my subscription and logged out for the last time. It had just gotten stale and over run with people who felt they were entitled to all the Epic gear that the rest of us had for just paying their fifteen dollars. 

Now that that is out of the way, onto what this blog will aim to do. I have recently picked up a copy of rift and am giving that a shot at taking the spot of WoW. So far, it has. I will be detailing the journey that comes with playing through the leveling content of Rift and onto the end game. As the name suggests, my main is going to be a Cleric named ILLL. This blog will also be used for information on the patches of the game and just general Rift things.
